This year, in no particular order:
1. I am thankful for a number of complete DVD series sets
2. I'm thankful for my good friends who, in big and small ways, provide a place for me to call home
3. I am thankful for the opportunity and means to return to Belize (and thankful beyond words for all who are helping to make this happen)
4. I'm thankful that I am loved even on my worst days
5. I am thankful for a family that spans states and continents, for rare moments to reconnect, for tasting an olive from the olive grove and learning how to say 'I love you' in French.
6. I am thankful for Ben's letter and baby Lily and the first anniversary with my step-twin
7. I'm not gonna lie, I'm thankful for technology: myspace, facebook, email, ipods
8. I am really thankful life keeps moving, or else I think most of us would get stuck somewhere
9. I'm super thankful for good music, because sometimes what really helps is a good song
10. I am thankful that life conquers death: that, like an Ace in our back pockets or a wink across the room, we always know we'll see each other again in the end

So, write this down. I volunteered to read this OUTLOUD to your mom - she didn't even have to ask. Now talk about something she should be thankful for. And, I am really happy we got to share our first anniversary. Now, that's a moment of thanks. Hugs and Thanksgiving wishes stwin!
